5. YK Studio Apps Privacy

Local-First Principle
The applications developed by YK Studio (for example, Insight Trading Journal for macOS and SmartCV for iOS) are built with a "local-first" philosophy. This means that, by default, all user data generated within the apps is stored locally on your device or securely in your personal Apple iCloud account.

We do not harvest, sell, or collect personal project data, analytics, or behavioral data from within the applications.

Device Permissions (Camera, Photos, Microphone)
Some of our applications (such as SmartCV) may request access to your device's camera, photo library, or microphone to provide core functionality (e.g., setting a professional profile picture or using voice input). This data is processed locally on your device or sent directly to the configured third-party API (like Google Gemini) if you actively use the AI features. We do not store, view, or collect your photos, audio recordings, or any other media on our servers.

AI Features & "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK)
Some of our apps include optional Artificial Intelligence features powered by Google Gemini. To ensure maximum privacy and transparency, these features require you to provide your own Google Gemini API Key.
When you use these AI features, your data is sent directly from your device to Google's API servers. Your data never passes through, nor is it stored on, any YK Studio servers. By using these features, you are directly interacting with Google, and your data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
